Poker Run Events During Bike Week
We know bikers are a very generous bunch, so we wanted to let everyone know of a few upcoming poker runs to benefit deserving charities in our area. There are even a few scheduled during Bike Week that our out-of-town visitors can take part in.
Saturday March 3, the Iron Horse is hosting a Poker Run to benefit Veterans Farm. Register at BFFAR, 745 Ridgewood Ave., Holly Hill 9:30-11 a.m. Cabbage Patch, OB's on 17-92, Ice House, Saints & Sinners and Iron Horse Saloon, last bike in at 3 p.m.
Ruff Ride to benefit the Halifax Humane Society March 8. Ride leaves from Halifax Humane Society, 2364 LPGA Blvd., Daytona Beach at 5 p.m. and ends at Bank & Blues on Main Street. $20 entry fee includes VIP reception at Bank & Blues. For more info http://www.halifaxhumanesociety.org
The 5th annual Harley-Davidson MDA Women's Ride is March 13. Ride leaves the Harley-Davidson Beach Street location at 10 a.m. and ends at Bruce Rossmeyer's Destination Daytona, Ormond Beach. $25 donation.
